Athletics is an amazing combination of sporting events, which include jumping, running, walking and throwing. The most common type of athletic competition are road running, track and field, race walking and cross country running. The result of jumps and throws is decided by the highest measured from the series of attempts, while foot racing events are decided by the finishing position.
